ScrimpCo ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Merge Wall (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

Game progress (on your device). Level progress, coins, settings, and cosmetic choices are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We do not operate user accounts for Merge Wall.

Advertising data (when ads are enabled). The App may show ads from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob or AppLovin MAX). Those partners may collect:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) if you allow tracking)
  • Ad interaction and impression data
  • General device and app usage data needed to deliver and measure ads

On iOS, we will ask for your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your data for cross-app tracking for advertising. You can decline; the App will still work, but ads may be less relevant.

Purchases. If you buy "Remove Ads" or other in-app products, payment is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your full payment card details.

Support communications. If you email us at scrimpbo@gmail.com, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message content).

2. How we use information

  • Provide and improve gameplay
  • Save your progress on your device
  • Deliver, limit, and measure advertising (when enabled)
  • Process in-app purchases and restore purchases
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-party services

When advertising is enabled, third-party ad SDKs may collect data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review:

4. Analytics

We do not use invasive third-party analytics in the current version. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, we will update this policy.

5. Children's privacy

Merge Wall is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your choices

  • iOS tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → allow or deny Merge Wall
  • Reset advertising ID: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
  • Delete local data: Use "Reset Progress" in App settings or uninstall the App

7. Data retention

On-device game data remains until you reset progress or delete the App. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. International users

ScrimpCo is based in Missouri, USA. By using the App, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
