Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dinnr, provided by ScrimpCo. By installing or using Dinnr, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Dinnr suggests meals from a curated catalog and lets you plan dinners on a calendar. Suggestions are for convenience. They are not medical, nutrition, or allergen advice.

You are responsible for checking ingredients against your own allergies, diet, and any medical needs before you cook or eat. Catalog data and photos may be incomplete or out of date.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a contract in your country. If you are under 18, use Dinnr only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Accounts

You can use Dinnr without creating a traditional account. An anonymous ID is created on your device. You are responsible for that device. We may later offer Apple or Google sign-in attached to the same ID.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt Dinnr or our servers
  • Scrape or copy the catalog or images beyond normal app use
  • Use Dinnr for anything illegal

We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

Intellectual property

Dinnr, its design, and our recipe catalog structure are owned by us or our licensors. Food photos may be credited to their original sources. You do not get ownership of the app or catalog by using it.

Disclaimers

Dinnr is provided "as is." We do not warrant that suggestions will be accurate, available, or fit a particular diet. Cooking involves risk; use common sense.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for illness, allergic reaction, or other harm from food you cook using Dinnr. Our total liability for any claim related to Dinnr will not exceed the amount you paid us for Dinnr in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0 if the app is free).

Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.

Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue Dinnr. We may update these terms; the effective date will change. Continued use means you accept the new terms. You may stop using Dinnr at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Missouri, USA have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
